Love is our highest value because it is God’s highest value. – “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)

“Literacy is the ability to read, view, write, design, speak, and listen in a way that allows you to interpret, discern, and interact with the world in which you live and communicate the gospel.”

the word of god

We believe the Bible is the most perfect source available for training and developing people.  It is the foundation and guide for everything in our school.

About us

Loving and nurturing in the light of Christ means…

That the School of Light is first, a ministry of New Life Foursquare Ministries, and second, an answer to the biblical mandate to “train up a child….” (Pr. 22.6a) Because we view our school mission and vision through the lens of God’s Word, we are not building another school option that teaches the Bible and provides religious activity. God has asked us to teach and train(disciple) children to know God and to live for Him. Discipleship is the relationship between a teacher and a student. We are to disciple children to know and live God’s Word, to thrive in relationship with God and with others, and to do the work of ministry in living our lives for the Kingdom. We accomplish this through preaching the Word, worship, prayer, and discipleship training that includes developing them as a whole person — socially, intellectually, emotionally, physically, AND spiritually.

New Life School of Light admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, loan programs, athletic and other school administered programs.

New Life was birthed in 2002 as a local church plant and the School of Light was founded in 2014. We are part of a movement that was started by the holy spirit in revival meetings in southern California during the azusa street revival.
